It’s the busiest time of the year for many of us! Whether you’re a seasoned fundraising professional, new to your role, or a volunteer tasked with raising money for your organization, RaiseMN has built a menu of packages tailored to specific fundraising needs many of us experience at the end of the year.

Pricing

Each year-end fundraising package topic has two options and price points to provide the flexibility you need to make progress on your campaign:

  • Two-hour sessions are best for a quick overview of the topic at hand, and to receive feedback on existing strategies, materials, and acute questions.
    Cost: $250 + processing

  • Four-hour sessions allow for a deeper dive into the topic and the opportunity to build strategies with your coach from the ground up.
    Cost: $500 + processing

Timeline

Our RaiseMN coaches have worked to clear their calendars to meet with as many of you as possible during the year-end push, but space is limited and on a first come, first served basis! You’ll either be able to meet us at our office in Northeast Minneapolis, or we’ll schedule a video meeting or conference call if distance is a factor.

End of Year Campaign Planning

It’s crunch time! You know the majority of all individual gifts come during this quarter, and now’s the time to make sure you have a strategy to take advantage of that end of year generosity!

Four-Hour Session

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Help developing your year-end campaign from scratch

  • A deep dive into the logistics and scheduling of your year-end campaign

Two-Hour Session

  • Walk through the key elements of a successful year-end campaign

  • Walk through and receive feedback on an already existing campaign or letter

  • Space to get answers to your most pressing questions about your year-end campaign

Board Engagement

Fundraising is the work of everyone at your organization, including your board. We take an abundance approach to engaging board members in the work of your year-end campaign, and will work with you to identify roles and responsibilities tailored to your people.

Two-Hour Session

Four-Hour Session

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Help with building a plan tailored specifically for your board to get them engaged in year-end fundraising

  • Receive feedback on your existing board engagement plan for the end of the year

  • Work with one of our coaches on your most pressing questions about board engagement

Thank You Program

Thanking donors may be the most important component of a plan to build an engaging relationship with your supporters for long-term support, yet it’s often an afterthought of a year-end campaign. We’ll work with you to build an achievable plan to send thoughtful thanks to your donors, and begin preparing them for the next call to action.

Four-Hour Session

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Build a stewardship plan for your year-end campaign to help increase donor retention

  • A deep dive into how your organization’s data collection processes can assist your donor stewardship

  • Begin discussing how to create a culture of philanthropy within your organization

Two-Hour Session

  • Feedback on your existing thank you program for year-end giving

  • Space to start answering some of your top questions about a thank you program

Major Donor Planning

Your year-end strategy should also create space for engaging your major donors. In addition to being a generous time of year because of the holidays, major donors may also be looking to make decisions to affect their 2019 tax burden, including gifts to their favorite causes.

Two-Hour Session

  • Feedback on an existing major donor year-end plan

  • Space to get answers to your acute questions answered

Four-Hour Session

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Help developing a year-end plan for major donors, including developing your case, your approach and ask, and your next steps for this group of donors

  • Space to practice delivering in-person asks with feedback

Post-Campaign Data Crunch

You’ve recently finished a campaign like Give to the Max Day or a year-end appeal, sent out your thank you notes, and are now looking forward to what’s next. Your donor reports can help shed light on the status of your individual giving program and begin to answer questions about how to plan your next campaign, and we’d love to help you geek out and crunch some numbers!

Four-Hour Session

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Start to build a data strategy with feedback and guidance from your coach which will help satisfy your organization’s needs and help your fundraising become more centered on your people.

Two-Hour Session

  • Take a deep dive into your organization’s donor data from your most recent campaign! You’ll have the chance to provide GiveMN’s director of development and operations with your report ahead of your meeting, hear his analysis of your data, and ask questions to learn from your numbers and strategize your next steps.

Making a Live Ask

While the term “live ask” is a bit of fundraising jargon, it just really means asking for money in front of a group of people, at places like a house party, social hours, curtain calls, festivals, or a board meeting. But since it’s just typically you and the donor, you typically don’t get much feedback on how it went. We’ll help you build your ask and give you the chance to practice it in a supportive environment.

All of the two-hour session components, plus:

  • Built in work time to build your ask with coach feedback

  • Space to address your specific live ask questions

  • Time to deliver your in-person ask and receive coach feedback

Two-Hour Session

  • Walkthrough the key elements of a successful live ask with a RaiseMN coach, including messenger, audience, and storytelling with great (and terrible) examples
